In the world of numbers and colors, numerology holds a special place. It’s where the energy and meaning of numbers combine with the vibrancy of colors.

You might have a lucky number or favorite color, but have you ever wondered how they might be connected? In color numerology, each number from one to nine has associated colors, which can influence our lives and well-being.

When I started digging into the connection between colors and numbers, I was fascinated.

Vibrant numbers of various sizes and colors float in a cosmic space, creating a mesmerizing display of numerology

Color numerology analysis is a different way to explore the deeper aspects of our personality and destiny. For example, if our number suggests we identify with red, it might mean we’re passionate and energetic.

Blue, on the other hand, could mean that we’re calm and in need of peace.

As we look at these connections, we find tools that may improve our day-to-day experiences and overall happiness.

Whether we want to improve our mood, improve our communication, or find an extra bit of luck, the connection between numbers and colors is exciting to learn about, and it’s something that we can all benefit from once we know how.

Foundations of Numerology in Tarot

Numerology is one of the layers in tarot readings. Without the numbers in the minor arcana, we wouldn’t fully understand the Tarot. Who knew numbers could be so revealing?

Definition of Numerology Terms

In numerology, each number reflects parts of a person’s life and character. Let’s break it down:

  • Life Path Number: This is like the script to our life’s story. It’s determined by summing the numbers in our date of birth until we get a single digit. This number acts as a guide, telling us about our strengths and life challenges.
  • Personality Number: This represents how others see us. We calculate it using the consonants in our full name, which point to the parts of us that we show the world. It reminds me of the first house in Astrology.
  • Birth Number / Birth Date Number: Simply the day you were born – from the 1st to the 31st. It might seem simple, but it has its own part in shaping who we are.

Enhancing Tarot with Numerology

We can make our tarot readings more interesting and personal by throwing numerology into the mix. Here’s why:

  • When you lay out your tarot cards, the numbers on them can match up with special numbers that say something about who you are – like a birthday number. This can make some parts of the tarot card reading feel more important or special to you.
  • In tarot cards, each card has a number, and this number can link to numbers that are important to you, like your birth date. This can make your tarot card reading feel like it’s just for you.

Calculating Your Numbers

Calculating your numerological numbers is a breeze. Here’s how we do it:

  1. Date of Birth: Say you’re born on March 14, 1992. First, we reduce each component to a single digit: 3 (month) + 5 (1+4 for day) + 21 (1+9+9+2 for year). Then we add those up getting 29, and then we reduce again to get 11, which is a master number that we don’t reduce further.
  2. Full Name: Write down your full name, and match each letter to a number based on its position in the alphabet. Then, add the numbers together, keep reducing until you’re left with a single digit, unless it’s a master number (11, 22, etc.).
  3. Look at the number’s nature. For instance, if you get a seven, it’s known for its analytical and introspective qualities.

Discovering Your Lucky Color

A colorful array of numbers, each associated with a different vibrant color, arranged in a pattern that suggests a sense of discovery and wonder

We all have colors that we’re drawn to, but did you know there might be more to our favorites than meets the eye? Let’s uncover the colors that could bring a splash of luck to our daily life.

The Significance of Colors

In numerology, people think that colors and numbers have a similar kind of energy. Every color matches with a number, and these colors can affect how we feel, what mood we’re in, and can even change how well we feel.

So, let’s say the color red goes with the number 1. Red is usually thought of as a color full of energy and excitement. If our number is 1, wearing red might help us feel more confident.

To find out which color is our numerology color, we first need to calculate our personal number. Add up the digits in our birthdate until you get a single digit. Each number is tied to a color:

  • 1 – Red
  • 2 – Orange
  • 3 – Yellow
  • 4 – Green
  • 5 – Blue
  • 6 – Indigo
  • 7 – Purple
  • 8 – Pink
  • 9 – Gold

This could be the best color to incorporate into your life to enhance your personal and professional goal.

Personal Numerology Chart

A personal numerology chart is like a map that uses numbers to tell you about your personality and your life.

To make your chart, numerology uses important numbers from your life, like the date you were born. It looks at things like your life path number, which is like the main theme of your life story, or your destiny number, which is about the goals and dreams you have. There are other numbers in the chart that can tell you about your strengths, challenges, and even the best times to do important stuff.

Basically, it’s a profile all about you, made up of different numbers that give you clues about who you are and what you might become.

To create a personal numerology chart, write down our birthdate and reduce it to a single digit. Here’s a simple example for someone born on March 13, 1990:

Birthdate: 3 + 1 + 3 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 26
Further Reduction: 2 + 6 = 8

The corresponding number is 8, and the lucky color for this person would be pink.

Lucky Colors in Tarot Practices

Tarot cards also have a connection with numerology and colors. Each card in a tarot deck is associated with both a number and a color, and these can offer insights into different aspects of our lives.

For example, The Sun card is linked to success and happiness, and it vibrates with the warmth of a sunny yellow.

Shades of Insight: Beyond Basic Colors

A spectrum of numbers and colors intertwine, each hue representing a unique numerical value. The vibrant shades form a mesmerizing pattern, evoking a sense of depth and insight

When we explore numerology, it’s fascinating to consider how different shades of colors can add depth to our understanding. Each hue tells us a unique story.

Understanding Shades of Color

When it comes to colors, it’s like having a giant box of crayons. I was never satisfied with the box of 8 or 16 colors, I needed the whole box of 96!

You start with the primary colors—red, yellow, and blue.

Now, mix those colors together in different ways, and you get new colors colors: green, orange, and purple. These are called secondary colors.

Then we start to get fancy when we add black, white, or gray, or mixing these colors in different combinations, we create all sorts of new shades.

These new shades can make a color feel different. That’s important in numerology readings because the exact shade can change the meaning a lot.

Now, using these different shades in numerology readings is a bit like cooking; just a dash more of one color can change the whole flavor of the number’s meaning.

Let’s say we’re working with the number three, typically associated with creativity and joy, and how it’s linked to the color yellow. If we have a paler yellow, it might suggest creativity, while a darker shade could point to deeper wisdom.

  • Pale Yellow for Three: Creativity
  • Dark Yellow for Three: Deeper Wisdom

Personalizing Tarot with Numerology and Color

A table with tarot cards arranged by number, each card associated with a specific color based on numerology

We all know that our full names and birthdays can tell us a lot about our personality types, and when we bring colors into the mix, tarot readings can become a personalized map of our journey. Let’s dive into how we can use numerology and color to enhance our connection with tarot.

Creating a Personal Numerology Chart

To start, we’ll need to create our personal numerology chart.

It begins with our full name and birth date. Each letter in our name has a numerical value, and our birth date numbers unpack the essence of our personality type.

Here’s a simple table to help us map our name to numbers:

LetterNumber
A, J, S1
B, K, T2
C, L, U3
D, M, V4
E, N, W5
F, O, X6
G, P, Y7
H, Q, Z8
I, R9

I am only using my first name as an example, but you would use your full name to get your

K=2, A=1, R=9, E=5, N=5, so when I add those numbers up. 2+1+9+5+5=22. This is a master number, so I wouldn’t reduce it any more.

To get my personal color, I would add up the 2’s to get 4. My personal color would be blues. The chart is below.

But if your name was Lisa, your numbers would be 3,9,1, and 1, which adds up to 14. Then add the 1 and the 4 to get the number 5.

For the birth date, simply add up the digits until you get a single digit.

For example, if you were born on March 9, add the digits 3 (for March), 0, and 9. If the sum is a double digit, add those together too.

Using Personal Colors in Tarot

Next, we’re going to incorporate colors. Each number is associated with specific colors which reflect different aspects of our personality.

  • 1: Reds and oranges, energizing colors that symbolize new beginnings.
  • 2: Greens, balancing and promoting harmony.
  • 3: Yellows, enhancing creativity and happiness.
  • 4: Blues, representing stability and depth.
  • 5: Indigos or a variety of vibrant colors, for freedom and adventure.
  • 6: Violets and light pinks, nurturing love and care.
  • 7: Purples and deep sea greens, touching on mystery and knowledge.
  • 8: Blacks and deep earthy tones, exuding power and wealth.
  • 9: Whites and pastels, bringing a sense of universal love and peace.

Journaling Your Integrated Practice

With our numerology chart and color correspondences in hand, we start integrating this knowledge into our tarot practice. Journaling is a powerful way to keep track of this personalized journey.

  • Note the date and the question or intent of your tarot reading.
  • Jot down the numbers and colors present during your reading.
  • Then, write about how these elements resonate with your personality type.

After a while, we can look back on our journal to see patterns and insights that have emerged thanks to our personalized approach to tarot with numerology and color.
